Death and all things that proceed it

When I kick the bucket and my body becomes the worm dirt that it is destined to be, I hope that others can look back on my life and at least say this: That shithead was original. I don't really care if I save the world, cure cancer, write even a paltry novel or swim the Atlantic Ocean. But I hope that God gives me the creative strength to at least be original and individual. But not individualistic. Because we are all individuals, and we make up a group, a community. However, I hope that with my passing comes an appreciation for the life and passion that I injected into the veins of this world. I hope those spikes of exuberance deal with helping some people, expressing my inner workings, in hopes that others can be inspired to attain their full individual potential as well.

Flawed logic and belief systems

"Do what makes you happy."

What if that which makes you happy includes throwing live animals out windows? Should we deny those with pathological predispositions the chance to be happy to fit our moral grooves? Or is any universalism really a dangerous path to drive our ethical snowmobile?

This thing I called now.

I will start off with a question I pulled from the current news. Well, not really the evening news or the New York Times or any rubbish like that, but the stuff that people really want to know. What do you do when you have this unnamed urge and you don't know what to do about it?

I am sitting in my modular little apartment, in nowhere town USA. I can feel, I can sense that something is happening, that life is pulsating through my surroundings but I cannot tell myself what I need or what I should do. I have this vibrancy, this immediate urgency to life and the best I can do is to click my keyboard and wonder what my mind is racing towards or from.
